The United Nations’ Human Rights Commission

 

The United Nations’ Human Rights Commission:- The United Nations’ Human Rights Commission now is not in existence which was constituted on 1946 as functional Commission by the Economic& Social Council. It has been stopped by the U.N. General Assembly to function from 16 June, 2006. It has been replaced by the Human Rights Committee. It is relevant to place over here that if any state member of the U.N.O. as a victim of violations of human rights might have filed the petition before the commission which received a number of petitions in respect of the violation of human rights and performed the functions accordingly.
