Right to Equality (Under articles 14 to 18)
The right to equality has been placed under article 14 to 18 of the Constitution of India which reveals the law relating to right to equality is as under: -
1. Equality before law (under article 14)
2. Prohibition of discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth (under article 15)
3. Equality of opportunity in the matters of public employment (under article 16)
4. Abolition of untouchability (under article 17)
5. Abolition of titles (under article 18)
